Answer every Google review without spending an hour a day

Maxence Lassus

An hour a day is an exaggeration for most businesses, but the feeling is accurate: the work seems endless because it comes back daily and always lands at the wrong moment. Three reviews on Tuesday, seven on Saturday, two the following Monday.

What costs is not the writing, it is the repetition: open the profile, remember the context, find a phrasing that does not look like the last one, start again.

Work splits in two, and only one half concerns you

A five-star review saying thank you doesn’t need you. The reply is a personalised thank-you picking up what the customer liked: the dish, the server’s name, the moment. Asterias writes and publishes it, on a natural delay.

A review below four stars needs you, because the reply commits your business publicly. Asterias writes it anyway and submits it to you. You publish, rewrite, or let it go. By default, nothing goes out without you on this half.

No dashboard to open

This is the point that separates a used tool from an abandoned one. A dashboard assumes a moment when you go and look, and that moment doesn’t exist in a service day.

Asterias sends approval requests directly to your WhatsApp or Telegram conversation. The review, the proposed reply, three buttons. The dashboard exists for settings and history, not for daily use.

What it takes off your week

  • Thanking positive reviews, entirely.
  • Searching for a different phrasing every time.
  • Having to remember: the review comes to you.
  • Translating foreign-language reviews.

What it doesn’t take off

  • Reading negative reviews, which remains your call.
  • Real problems flagged by reviews, which no software fixes.
  • Tracking reviews on platforms other than Google.
  • The cost: 14 € a month for one business.

How to verify it

Asterias processes reviews without delay: a morning review doesn’t sit until the next day, and the approval request is sent promptly, except during your quiet hours.

Quiet hours also apply to notifications. A review pulled in at 3 AM is prepared immediately, but your phone only pings when quiet hours end. The dashboard displays it right away.

Replies publish with a variable delay. That prevents your listing from showing twenty replies published in the same second, the most obvious sign of an automated bot.

Common questions

How much time does it really take per week?

It depends on how many reviews fall below four stars, since those are the only ones requiring a decision. For about fifteen reviews a month, it takes a few minutes a week.

What if I don’t reply to an approval request?

Nothing is published. A pending review remains pending, visible in the dashboard, until you decide.

Can I approve everything, including positive reviews?

Automatic replies to positive reviews can be turned off in business settings. You regain full manual control, and time saved scales accordingly.
